Guided-Virtual Field Trips

Our programs are not just virtual field trips, they are guided-virtual field trips. Your synchronous host will interact with your group, engage them, and answer their live questions.

Engaging

From acting silly to serious conversations, our staff will change their facilitation style to fit your group’s needs and age. In fact, we routinely work with young elementary all the way up to retirement groups. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions about how our programs can be tailored to engage your specific group.

Interactive

Nothing beats having someone on the big screen answer your live questions. However, we are constantly looking for new ways to make our programs more interactive and dare we say, more hands-on. For our younger audiences, we use more ‘do-as-I-do’ actions to get them moving during programs. We leverage digital tools, such as Quizizz, to make the experience more interactive for older students.

Tools

We are currently using Quizizz during our programs to help interact with audiences.  Quizizz is a quiz app we use to poll the audience and ask questions during all free programs. This is optional for our paid programs and not usually recommended for K-2 classrooms.

Where

When you book a paid program, we’ll virtually connect to your preferred platform (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Meet).

All free programs are delivered via Zoom webinars and streamed out to GEOshow.TV and various social platforms.

Physically, your group will connect in your physical space of choice or remotely from each participants home. If remote, your students will connect to the Zoom webinar or watch the livestream on Youtube or GEOshow.stream for sign-in less viewing. Another option for teachers is to grab and Zoom Webinar and restream it to their own LMS (e.g., Google Classroom). For paid programs with remote learners, we can connect to your normal virtual classroom.
